The Blind Men and the Elephant: Steve Glueckert

Steven Glueckert, artist and retired curator of the Missoula Art Museum, is the artist behind The Blind Men and the Elephant.  This exhibition of drawings of oil-based media follows the Chinese parable of blind men who came to very different views of the same creature.  It is sponsored by the Montana Art Galleries and Directors Association (MAGDA) and will be on view at the Holter until April 2.  Glueckert will give a talk on the arc of Montana artists entitled Over Our Shoulders on Saturday, February 11 beginning at 10:30 am.
