Greetings Arts Educators,
We are now accepting proposals for summer camps, 2022. We are looking forward to another great summer full of lots of art experiences in a wide range of disciplines. If you would like to apply for an opportunity to teach one or two week long camps this summer, please submit a written proposal outlining your idea and curriculum for a camp in one of the following disciplines: visual arts, clay, drama, creative-writing, sculpture, community-public art, music, or other creative pursuits. Our general age range is age 6 through 12. If you are proposing a camp for a different age range, please specify.
We will have 11 weeks of camps this summer. We will start the week of June 14th and run until the 3rd week of August. Camps will run from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday. You can submit a proposal for either a week long full day camp or half day camp. Half day camps will be broken up as morning or afternoon camps meeting for five days from 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm. We (Holter staff) will take the full day campers for the lunch hour from 12 to 1, so if you are teaching a full day camp you get an hour lunch break.
All camps need to run a full week, Monday through Friday. You are responsible for your concept and curriculum. We take care of the cost of supplies and provide volunteer helpers when possible. Camps are capped at 12 participants with exceptions for programming that is entirely outdoors.
