Preparation: Participants will have the choice of either using a pre-made character sheet provided at the first session, or are welcome to make their own if they know how to*.

*If making your own, finished character sheets must be brought to the first session! This is not a requirement, but clan affiliation will affect certain encounters in the game!

Description

The Story:

Since the first appearance of Zehir throughout the south of the Realm, there has been enmity between the Rattlesnake clan and the Bison clan of Tahnsko. The original clan of humanity has deep suspicions for the ambitious people from Iztan and their foreign magic, and there is always tension when Tahnsko’s annual migration brings them close to Zehir’s westernmost settlements. Under the rule of Prince Ruhin Al’Zehir, an uneasy peace had been brokered between the Bison and the Rattlesnake. However, following an attempted infiltration of the capital city of Yilan Yuvasi by interloping enemies from Iztan, some Zehirians of a more aggressive disposition have taken advantage of this destabilization in order to act for their own interests…

Moving out from their southern settlement of Wellerun, the great Tahnsko migration has found the path to Grundwaeg less hospitable than it has been in many years. Renegade bands of Zehir warriors from Tasli Sahil have exacted a toll from the steady wave of the traveling Tahnsko, keeping them on their toes and heightening tensions between the two clans. As the force of Tahnsko continues on its way and approaches Nehir Kalesi, it must once again brace itself for confrontation. Will you aid the Bison clan in battle against the aggressions of these Zehirian rebels, or will another method of dealing with this conflict reveal itself? Join with your fellow adventurers to shape this period of strife in Middangeard’s history!

About the GM:

Eric Dymit is one of the c0-directors of Adventures in Cardboard Montana (otherwise known as AiCinMT), and an avid fantasy and role playing enthusiast! Taking inspiration from the AiC world of Minnesota, he has developed all of the Lore which Montana campers have played in for their summer camps, game days, and residencies*. In addition to his work with AiC, Eric has also worked as an Art Instructor with the Holter Museum of Art, teaching Corks/Cocoa and Canvas classes, Artist in Residency sessions at Helena elementary schools, and summer camps. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the natural world, reading about and drawing fantasy characters, and petting every dog he sees.

* “developed” as in recorded the many exploits, wacky stories, spiraling tales, and yet-to-be-told (to anyone but fellow campers) narratives played out by campers that have come to make up the lore of AiC in MT.
