Description

A Minnesota-based children’s camp best known for creative mythic-outdoor play that makes space/allows for creative expression and exploration through fantasy role-play, constructive thinking, and hands-on crafting knowledge through the construction of epic cardboard creations, development of conflict resolution with self and with others through competitive games, and the chance to practice and learn how to vocalize boundaries and consent at early ages in ways that translate later on in life.

Each week participants can join to build and craft with Adventures in Cardboard supplies and with Art and Play Instructors on hand to provide inspiration and know-how. Projects can range in size and time, from a small dagger completed in an hour to a massive puppeteer-ed dragon completed over the course of multiple weeks! Even better, everything we can build will be Adventures in Cardboard approved and can be used at Game Days, camp, and other Adventure in Cardboard happenings!

After an hour of crafting, an Art and Play Instructor will setup Games for those who would like to spend the final hour with cardboard- sword in hand practicing their dueling skills, magic casting, bushwhacking ability, and flag-capturing skills.
