Joined for a DnD campaign before? Each week of DnD will see new adventures, new storylines, new quests, and new creations spurred on by the creativity, playfulness, and imagination of participants!
A DnD world is infinite, meaning each new journey through the adventure will be different from the last.
Join Art and Play Instructor Trent for a Dungeons and Dragons session in which participants craft characters to form an adventuring party alongside each other and take off into a fantasy world! Trent will serve as guide, narrator, and companion to adventurers as they play along with a spoken story. Props, a map, and mini-figures will help set the scene in this theater of imagination where player choices have consequences and whether your group saves a NPC villager (Non-Playable Character) from a bandit attack or steals from a friendly NPC shopkeeper may affect a quest later on down the line.
The Story: To be announced.
Preparation: Participants will have the choice of either using a pre-made character sheet provided at the first session, or are welcome to make their own if they know how to*.
*If making your own, finished character sheets must be brought to the first session! Note on characters – as this campaign takes place in the Realm of AiC, participants are suggested to create characters that are aligned with one of the major clans of Middangeard. This is not a requirement, but clan affiliation will affect certain encounters in the game!
Another note! Start your character out on level 5.
About the GM: Trent is an experienced Game Master who has been participating in tabletop roleplay games for most of his life. In spite of his photo on the Holter staff page, he is in fact, not a cat.
We have reached maximum registration for this activity. Thank you for your interest! Check back soon to see the next art activity to be happening at the Holter Museum of Art! If you would like to be put on a waitlist for this camp, email education@holtermuseum.org.
