Do you find your lack of resin work disturbing? Looking to impress that certain force-wielding boss? This is the class you are looking for…
This class is a Resin 101! Learn the different types of resin available to work with and the various ways to add color while becoming familiar with Epoxy Resin, Mica powder, and alcohol inks.
Participants will choose between a Darth Vader and a storm trooper for their final piece. No resin will go to waste as we use the remaining resin from any colors we mix to fill a series of off-pours to take home at the end of the class!
Day 1: We will learn how to safely setup for a resin pour, how to properly mix the resin, the addition of color, and finally the pouring. Our instructor is an experienced resin artist who will be sharing tips and tricks with us should participants decide to continue the craft on their own.
Day 2: Applying a final clear coat.
All completed pieces must cure for a 12 hour time period. A date for pick-up will be announced.
“An elegant art form, for a more civilized age.”
