Description

Sketchbook club will meet one day per week at a different coffee shop for six-week duration.

Students/artists bring their own drawing tablets and have focused time and space (in local coffee shops) to draw with fellow artists. We will spend time during class to discuss each other’s work and personal instruction as needed.

Materials include drawing tablet and medium of the student’s choice including: pencil (>2B, ink, colored pencil, pastel, and watercolor.  The instructor will have a variety of mediums on hand “for sampling” on the first day of class.

The goal of the class is “to find and release the individual creative impulse and artistic personality of each student” – K. Nicolaides.

Meet your teacher: This class is led by Paul Blumenthal, Architect/artist.
