Facilitator Bio: Keegan Medrano (he/they) is a queer, mixed-race Indigenous (Muscogee Creek) person who works at the ACLU of Montana as the Advocacy and Policy Director implementing state lobbying, advocacy, and community organizing around the organization’s issue areas. Personally impacted by houselessness and the criminal legal system, Keegan’s work, guided by their personal experiences, emphasizes how the settler-colonial state continues the kill, punish, and immiserate Indigenous, queer, and people forced to confront poverty.
