Broad Spectrum proudly represents the SAQA Montana/Idaho region with works by 21 artists, chosen by juror Sarah Justice, Executive Director, Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, Great Falls, Montana. The exhibition debuted in 2020 at Northcutt Steele Gallery at Montana State University Billings.
According to then Northcutt Steele Gallery Director, Dr. Leanne Gilbertson, “The art quilt as form, technique, and idea promises some solace in a moment of segmentation and necessary isolation. The range of content and skill expressed in the exhibition is inspiring, offering a bounty of colors, textures, and concepts. Like the best meal and best dinner party, each artwork exists as an entity unto itself made richer by the company it keeps. I hope this collection enlivens your senses and provides some sustaining comfort in these challenging times.”
