Each year, the Holter Museum showcases local to international contemporary artists, bringing exciting and timely exhibits to Helena that explore innovative art trends and current topics.

The Holter’s group shows provide opportunities for multiple artists to collaborate, creating cohesive bodies of work while showcasing their individuality and artistic accomplishments.

Education exhibits celebrate the arts-in-education. These shows often feature student artists in Helena – for example, our long-standing Youth Electrum show.

Holter Summer Camps encourage arts learning and creative thinking through hands-on activities and play. Summer Camps have opportunities for all kids ages 5 – 16. Scholarships are also available to low-income families, ensuring all kids have access to the arts.

The Holter’s free afterschool social-emotional programs include opportunities for middle and high school students that encourage and challenge youth in finding their voices or learning new things. These programs include ArtFeeds, Art for Survival, and the Afterschool Teen Arts Council (ATAC).
