Metamorphosis: a striking alteration in appearance, character, or circumstances

Call For Art

Transform David Spencer's Books for The Holter Metamorphosis Gala 2025

While we are all very sad that our dear friend, David Spencer, has passed away, we are so grateful to have been gifted his immense library of books. In response, we intend to distribute these books to the community through our quasi-bookstore in the ‘W.’ We also had the idea to transform some of these books into works of art! We are inviting artists to create artwork inspired by and/or utilizing David’s books for the Holter to auction off at our annual gala. The theme for our 2025 gala is Metamorphosis, which was a subject near and dear to our departed friend. Join us in celebrating the life of David Spencer and the transformative power of art!
