Description

ATAC is an opportunity for creatively-minded Helena teens to come together and become an integral part of the Holter Museum, therefore becoming advocates for the arts among their peers as well as the community as a whole.

Participants come together each week as a group of teens to be engaged in the museum and engaged in the community! In the past, this has taken the form of designing and painting murals in the museum’s education wing, participating as individuals and as a collective in exhibits for teen voice, representing teen voice in museum decisions such as the creation of a community center, serving as advocates for teen oriented programming including the need for Art 4 Survival, creating original designs to print as part of their own t-shirt business, advocating for teen arts representation in the wider community through projects such as the 2020 Crosswalk Encounter Project, working with community groups to create murals like the United Way painting, and participating in festivals and other community art events…to name a few of the amazing ATAC accomplishments!

What we are doing now: enjoying having finished the major parts of our United Way mural and starting to get ready for Queer Teen Prom.
