Nia at The Holter
So much more than ‘just a workout,’ a Nia class experience at the Holter offers a holistic fusion of dance, martial arts and healing arts to create an effective, fun and transformational workout for body, mind, emotions and spirit that will leave you smiling while you sweat.
Nia is a holistic movement and wellness practice, designed for EveryBody regardless of age or fitness level. Using dance and 9 movement techniques, each Nia class delivers a full-bodied workout that conditions the body using a system of 52 simple moves. Practiced barefoot, Nia’s purpose is to inspire and guide people to listen to the wisdom of the body, choose movement that feels good, and find connection in community.
While many people step-in to their first Nia class for the workout, they discover so much more. Through the body and lifestyle practices learned in Nia classes, programs and trainings, they discover greater health, vitality, well-being, confidence, connection, empowerment and love that transforms their bodies and their lives.
