Opening reception: May 16, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The 2024 Photo Show is an exhibition of county 4-H youth who are pursuing a particular topic throughout the 4-H year. They began with writing a statement of purpose and methodology and are documenting their progress through the photos they take. 4-H’ers pursuing this project will showcase one photo from their work that demonstrates their progress and topic of interest. These photos will be on display at the Holter Museum of Art, along with a short caption that describes the topic and project they are pursuing.
The “Photography with a Purpose” 4-H project will culminate in a physical item that demonstrates the results of their work. This will be judged and displayed at the 2024 Lewis & Clark County Fair. It might be something like a printed 2025 wall calendar, a scrapbook, a photo book or other photo-based item.
Committed to showcasing legacy, established and emerging artists, we aim to be a vibrant hub that celebrates the power of art, in all its forms and expressions, to transform lives.
