Adventures in Cardboard

Adventures in Cardboard

A Minnesota-based children’s camp best known for creative mythic-outdoor play that makes space/allows for creative expression and exploration through fantasy role-play, constructive thinking, and hands-on crafting through the construction of epic cardboard creations, development of conflict resolution with self and with others through competitive games, and the chance to practice and learn how to vocalize boundaries and consent at early ages in ways that translate later on in life.

Adventures in Cardboard has partnered with the Holter Museum to run a plethora of programs from our classroom spaces: birthday party, after-school programming, summer camps, and monthly game days to name a few! Plus the occasional Dungeons and Dragons campaign.
DnD in the Realm of AiC: Mystery of the Eagle and the Raven

Take on the mantle of one of 6 heroes caught in the middle of warring factions now brought to the brink of a cataclysmic event. Will your party rise to the challenge, unite, and overcome the divisions of these two powerful city-states or will you be swept along with the chaos of powers at war? Ever gotten wrapped up in a story and started to imagine yourself as a character along for the journey? Join AiC in MT Art and Play Instructor K.C. for a 6 week Dungeons and Dragons campaign in which participants craft characters to form an adventuring party alongside each other and take off into a fantasy world!
