This one month long exhibit offers a special opportunity to see work from a variety of exemplary artists, each with unique and eloquent approaches to depicting the figure in their work.
With many modernist works by Montana based artists, this exhibit illustrates the narrative, abstract, and symbolic power of the human figure.
The Holter is honored to house these works and many more, and to serve as stewards so that generations to come may experience and appreciate influential pieces such as these. These artists, and the donors of these works have made a significant impact on open access to fine art in Montana.
