Description

What is the ChromaDepth effect? ChromaDepth refers to the perception of color by depth, with the rainbow spectrum taking on dimension. Red appears near, blue appears far. Using ChromaDepth glasses, this can cause paintings to take on a 3-D effect. This effect can often be seen in Haunted Houses to create spatial effects.
Artist Instructor Dallas Ryder will guide participants through the process of painting in ChromaDepth while also explaining the science behind the effect. Using specialty paint, a bluelight, and ChromaDepth glasses, participants will create their own paintings. Put on the glasses and watch your painting jump off the canvas!
