Description

If you have ever seen a beautiful landscape and thought “wow, I wish I could capture that”, this class is for you! Join for a summer camp about capturing that moment outdoors using pencils, paper, ink, and color. Emma Patek will lead participants in a class all about taking a “picture” with our mind and translating the beauty of the landscape around us through plein air painting.

“Plein air” translates from French to “In the Open Air” and is an art practice taken outdoors where direct observation lends itself to the final piece.

HOLTER MUSEUM OF ART EDUCATION PROGRAM POLICIES
Preregistration is required for all Holter educational programs. Full tuition will be refunded on any cancellation up to two weeks prior to beginning of class, after that 40% of tuition will be refunded upon cancellation.
