About this event

The Holter Museum of Art is excited to announce the second annual Holter Art Fair, ‘Rock the Block’ and will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the Holter Museum and adjoining Cruse Street. This end of summer celebration will feature booths from local artists selling their hand made crafts, fun Fall games, a bucket raffle, food trucks, and unique hands-on art activities where attendees can create one of a kind art pieces to take home! Several local musicians will play, adding to the ambiance of the art fair.

This year’s Art Fair is FREE and Open to the Public!

This year’s theme is “Handmade Harvest”, kicking off the season of Fall in Montana and highlighting the beautiful photography exhibition on display in the Museum; Adel Sheep Shearing, Sieben Live Stock Company by J.M. Cooper and sponsored by the Missoula Art Museum. Exhibition opens on September 11th.

‘Rock the Block’ is a fundraising event benefiting the Holter Museum of Art, with proceeds from activities, donations, and fundraising events supporting the Holter’s General Fund and capital campaign, Raise the Roof; Protect the Art. Participating artists and vendors keep 100% of the proceeds from sales made at their booths, reinforcing the Holter’s commitment to supporting local artists and strengthening Helena’s creative community.
