Description

Using a kit of professional art supplies from Queen City Framing & Arts (that you’ll get to keep after camp ends), join artist Leah in a summer camp that will expand your drawing expertise and sharpen your skills!

Learn about:

  • different types of pencils and pens for drawing with
  • when to use kneaded erasers versus vinyl erasers
  • how to use tortillon – a.k.a. shading stumps
  • the magics of charcoal vine
  • the elements of drawing: line, shape, form, proportion, and perspective with shading

Explore:

  • portraiture
  • landscapes
  • still-life

Expect art games, daily prompts, and a whole lot of fun! Come draw with us!

Meet your teacher: Leah Schwabauer, a Sci-fi/Fantasy Writer and…Paper sculptor known for whimsical designs with storybook elements.
