Summer Camp Proposal

If you would like to apply for an opportunity to teach one or two week long camps this summer, please submit a written proposal outlining your idea and curriculum for a camp in one of the following disciplines: visual arts, clay, drama, creative-writing, sculpture, community-public art, music, or other creative pursuits.

Description

Our general age range is age 4 through 18. If you are proposing a camp for a different age range, please specify.

Summer camps run June 10-August 21. Camps can run Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday with half-day options (9am-12pm and 1-4pm) and full day options (9am-3pm w/ lunch break). Camps can be in any of the following disciplines: visual arts, clay, drama, creative-writing, sculpture, community-public art, puppetry, textile work, music, or other creative pursuits.
You are responsible for your concept and curriculum. We take care of the cost of supplies and provide volunteer helpers when possible.
Camps are capped at 6-16 participants with exceptions for programming that is entirely outdoors.
You are welcome to submit to teach more than one camp. We will be accepting proposals through Jan. 2nd.

What age group are you interested in teaching?
If your dates are not available, the museum's education team will work with you to find an alternative set of dates. Summer camps in 2026 will start June 10 and run until August 21.
Camps can run M-Thur or M-Fri and can be half-day (9am-12pm or 1-4pm) or full-day (9am-3pm w/ lunch break) options.
