Join the Holter in welcoming Nicole Maria Evans, Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, for a lecture on the current exhibition Il Maestro! Works by Morton Levin, a Centennial Celebration. Evans will provide insight into how she curated this exhibit and will delve deeper into Levin’s life and work. This event is FREE and open to the public. Parental discretion is advised.

About the Speaker:
Nicole Maria Evans is Chief Curator & Director of Curatorial Affairs at Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art in Great Falls, Montana. A collaborative and visionary leader, she curates exhibitions and oversees exhibitions, collections, and related programming, shaping the museum’s curatorial direction and community engagement since 2019. With over 20 years of experience, she has served in curatorial, development, research, collections, and educational roles at institutions including the MFA Boston, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and Smithsonian. Evans has led major acquisitions, preservation and fundraising initiatives, publications, and traveling exhibitions, earning recognition such as the MAM 2025 Jack Lepley Museum Person of the Year award. Evans holds a joint MA in Art History and Museum Studies from Tufts University, with research conducted in Havana, Cuba, and a BA in Art History from UCLA, including study at Université de Bordeaux, France. She serves on the boards of the Montana Art Gallery Directors Association (MAGDA) and the Museum Association of Montana (MAM).
