BRILLIANT ARTIST-EDUCATORS! MEMORABLE ACTIVITIES!

Our artists will help kids create their own fantastic swords and shields to take home, then host an all-out game of Strategic Capture the Flag. We’ll bring an array of props and several ancient magical relics to be hidden and found onsite!

Magnetic and entertaining people with consummate artistic skills, our Instructors act as trusty yet happy-go-lucky warlords who are able to keep responsible parameters on play while joining in the nitty gritty of battle when called upon by the adventurers to do so!

Are kids younger than 8 able to join?

Adventures in Cardboard programming is oriented towards ages 8 and older. Somewhere between ages 6 and 7 there is a developmental wall that makes the competitive combat portion of AiC programming more difficult for these younger participants. 6 to 7 year olds are generally not prepared to play fair in a game that asks participants to self-regulate and call themselves "out". They also have a harder time managing gross motor control and understanding the non-violent and representative nature of play fighting. Sometimes this age group can experience the frustration that comes with being a little smaller than other kids participating. It can take away from the fun for both younger participants and older participants.

All participants are age 8 and up!
